2013 creation using acrylic on canvas for this abstract work of art.  Nanoshells were discovered by Professor Naomi J. Halas and her team at RICE University in Houston in 2003.  Nanoshell – spherical nano particle consisting of a dielectric core which is covered by a thin shell (usually gold) used in the treatment of cancer.  This abstract shows these little gold color particles in solution.
