Adoption at the pound is an acrylic on canvas abstract creation completed in 2013.  This painting is an abstract of a dog waiting to be adopted at the pound.  My mother and I went to the local pound on day.  I saw this wonderful little puppy with others and the mother dog. I signed up to get this cute little pet.  Ends up they gave it to someone else….but.. SO we adopted the mother of the ten pups, and called her MOMMA.  Great story and she was a great dog!  Do you see the two green eyes and the nose?
