Acrylic on canvas creation.  A Sky Lantern is also known as Kingming Lantern or Chinese Lantern.  A small hot air balloon made of paper, with an opening at the bottom where a small fire is suspended.  This painting was on display at the USDA Gallery in Washington, D.C. all of 2016.  Using the daytime, when usually they are released at night.  Love the colors…
